General registration instructions

• New members: At the sign-in screen, enter only your email address and click the Sign In button. Instructions on getting a password will be emailed to you in a minute or two, which you can use to create a new account and begin registration.

• Returning members: At the sign-in screen, enter your email address and the password that you used last year and click Sign In. If you forgot your password, just enter your email address and click Sign In; a password will be emailed to you in a minute or two, which you can then use to log into the system and begin the registration.

• Payments: Online registration only accepts credit cards for payment. If you'd like to pay by cash/check, please attend our in-person registration session; check the Calendar on the home page for the date and time.

• Close date: After March 30, registrations will be placed on a waiting list, with girls assigned to teams on a space-available basis. In addition, friend requests may not be honored for wait-listed registrations. So don't delay, register before the March 30 deadline!

• Update information: Returning members, please take a moment to check all your contact and family information and make any necessary changes.

• Help: If you have any problems or have questions about registration, please send an email to and we'll help you out.

House program divisions

The House program is organized by school grade: 

• Minors: Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade

• Division 1: 3rd - 4th grade

• Division 2: 5th - 6th grade

• Division 3: 7th - 8th grade

• Division 4: 9th - 12th grade and players up to age 19 (enter school grade 13)

Parents of a pre-school child who would like to play in GAL are invited to contact GAL at  to discuss their options.  

Travel program divisions

The Travel program is organized by age (according to USSSA rules). For 2018 the brackets are:

• 19U: Birth years of 1999-2001

Note: Players must be registered for a House program to play Travel; prior GAL players may apply for an exemption (send an email to info@galsoftball.org).
